Every day of the week, the Nagaland Dear Day lottery is held. Each daily draw has a different name that refers to a heavenly object, although they are otherwise identical:

All draws begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost Rs. 6 and include the chance to win a First Prize of Rs. 1 crore, as well as five smaller prizes.
Every Dear Day draw generates a total of 2.5 crore tickets. Each ticket has an eight-digit combination that is unique: a two-digit serial number between 74 and 99, a letter (A-L) identifying the series, and a five-digit number between 00000 and 99999. To win the Rs. 1 crore First Prize, you must match all of these digits with the winning combination.
The winners are chosen at random by an automatic draw machine in accordance with the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010. The draws are overseen by the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries, P.R. Hill Junction, Nagaland, Kohima – 797001.
A winning ticket can only get one tier of rewards and will receive the highest-value award. Lottery dealers may pay claims up to Rs. 10,000 directly.
